Tuesday’s Children, a non profit family service organization founded by families and friends of 9/11 victims, made a long term commitment to meet the needs of every family who lost a loved one in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 especially the over 3,000 children who lost a parent on that day. Tuesday’s Children provides a wide-range of programs and services that address the unique challenges families face at every stage of their lives. In partnership with experts from around the world and in collaboration with renowned facilitators and mental health professionals, Tuesday’s Children creates programs that bring together children and families whose lives have been dramatically altered by an act of terrorism in the US and abroad. Some of the programs include Family Engagement, Mentoring, Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Programs, Helping Heals, Adult Programs, Project Common Bond, Counseling Services and the First Responder Alliance. |
